What a surprise. I went to look up some of the names from the Saturday concert at Cafe Du Norde and saw that Raul Malo was performing on Sunday. I quickly got tickets on-line and made dinner reservations by phone. We were ready for the concert.

The opening performer was really good. He had flown up from LA and his music was all original and well done. Next came the headliner, Raul Malo. He was really, really great and performed with an accordion player whose name I did not get. This was my first time seeing Raul in person. He did the right thing by playing many of his tunes with different timings and arrangements to compliment the limited two piece band. He played for over an hour and a half. It was a great time.

Three bands were there at The Cafe Du Norde in San Francisco. First we saw Cyndi Harvell and her group. They played a mix of rock/country. Next were THE FAMOUS who played some rousing material. They put on a great show of mostly original material. Next was Eliot Randall & The Deadmen. They were really the best of the night. They play over an hour and, again, played mostly original music.
